Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using LinkedGuard ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

LinkedGuard is a browser extension and web dashboard that tracks the number of LinkedIn connection requests you send each week. It provides safety warnings to help you stay within LinkedIn's usage limits. We are not affiliated with LinkedIn.

3. Accounts

• You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• One account per person. Do not share your account with others.
• You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.

4. Subscriptions and Billing

• Access to the Service requires a paid subscription.
• Subscriptions are billed monthly via Stripe.
• You can cancel your subscription at any time from the billing portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers.
• Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact us for assistance.

5. Team and Agency Plans

• Team and Agency plan owners are responsible for the activity of invited members.
• Managers may invite members, view their invite counts, and remove them from the team.
• Members added via invite link do not need their own subscription — access is covered by the plan owner.
• If the plan owner cancels their subscription, all team members lose access.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to violate LinkedIn's Terms of Service or any applicable law.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or modify the extension or web application.
• Automate actions on LinkedIn using our extension (it is a passive tracker only).
• Resell or redistribute access to the Service without our written permission.
• Use the Service to harass, spam, or harm other users.

7. Disclaimer

LinkedGuard is a tracking tool only. We do not guarantee that staying within suggested limits will prevent LinkedIn from restricting your account. LinkedIn's enforcement policies are determined solely by LinkedIn and may change without notice. The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LinkedGuard shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to LinkedIn account restrictions, lost data, or lost revenue.

9. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time from the Settings page. Upon deletion, all your data is permanently removed.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of significant changes via email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the European Union. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of the applicable jurisdiction.
