8. Browser Extension Permissions

The LinkedGuard Chrome extension requires access to linkedin.com pages only. It reads the page to detect when you send a connection request and increments your counter. It does not read or modify any other data on LinkedIn or any other website.

We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS), Row Level Security (RLS) on our database, and secure authentication via Supabase Auth. Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text.
